Community Guidelines

1. Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people — no personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or slurs.
2. Stay on topic. Keep posts in the right board.
3. No spam or self-promotion. No unsolicited ads, affiliate links, or repeated posting of the same content.
4. Protect privacy. Don’t post anyone’s real name, address, phone number, or other identifying details without their consent — including your own, if you’d rather stay anonymous under your handle.
5. No impersonation. Don’t pose as a public official, journalist, or another member.
6. No illegal content or threats. Nothing that is illegal, threatens violence, or incites harm.
7. Political debate is welcome, civility is required. City Council, County, State, and Federal discussion is encouraged; personal attacks, doxxing of officials, and coordinated pile-ons are not.
8. Moderators may act on violations. Rules are enforced as needed — posts that break these guidelines may be edited, hidden, or removed, and repeat violators may lose posting privileges.
