The Site is operated by Chrisco Ltd Brands, LLC, through its Metro Media Group division (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Who We Are and What We Do

The Metro Black SanAntonian is a community news and communication platform serving San Antonio’s Black community, including news coverage, community events, and an in-development mobile app and community data project. Our goal is to keep the community connected, informed, and counted.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Using Our Site

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

4. Newsletter and Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or provide your email address, you consent to receive communications from us, including newsletters, community updates, and event notifications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. User Submissions and Community Content

The Site allows you to submit content, including story tips, event listings, comments, and community chat messages (“User Submissions”). By submitting content, you:

• Confirm that you own the content or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe on anyone else’s rights.

• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site without our permission.
• Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited advertising.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these standards.

Unless otherwise noted, all articles, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
