To the Black San Antonio Community,
For too long, our community has lacked one simple thing: a consistent, reliable way to stay connected to each other. Events go unannounced. Businesses go unnoticed. Opportunities pass by simply because the word never reached the people who needed it most. Today, that begins to change.
Metro Media Group is proud to announce the coming of The Metro Black SanAntonian — a mobile application built to keep our community informed about upcoming events and everything local that affects Black San Antonio. This is more than an app. It’s a tool built by and for our community, designed to close the communication gap that has kept us disconnected for far too long.
Why This Matters
Metro Media Group exists to do something no one else in this city is doing at this scale: build a real, ongoing statistical picture of Black San Antonio. Through community polling and data collection, we’re creating a resource that businesses, organizations, and government leaders can turn to when making decisions that affect our neighborhoods. When the people making those decisions have real numbers — not guesses — about who we are, what we need, and where we live, our community gets a seat at the table instead of an afterthought.

The website will keep you informed on our progress and serve as a place for education — offering resources and information for anyone in the community who wants to learn more about what we’re building and why it matters.
